If your hair is naturally long, straight and slippery, then you're in luck, because ultra-straight hair is on trend this season. We do understand how difficult it can be to keep your hair in place, so here are a few hairstyles that will help to keep your locks in check this Autumn!

Get an A+ for pigtails

This back to school look is both fun and versatile enough to be switched up for different occasions. Low ponytails, especially, were popularly sported on the runway this AW16. Wear your ponytails low and by your ears for an ultra-chic look, by parting your hair down the middle and applying a small amount of serum to your locks for added shine. Switch things up a little by inverting your ponytails, or plaiting your hair in a French plait, but leaving the lengths loose.

Go for 90s with wet-look low double buns

Double buns, or space buns as they're popularly known, are a fun and retro way to infused a bit of 90s charm into your look. Combining your double buns with a wet look will give your hair an added edge to your look. Style this up-do by parting your hair to the side, slicking it down with hair gel and styling it up in double buns. Secure your buns in place with hair grips, though the gel alone should ensure your look lasts the day.

Romantic with a touch of messiness - the braided crown

If your hair is long enough to style a braided crown it would be a crime not to! Sport this romantic up-do by braiding the lengths of your hair and wrapping it around your head, securing your look in place with hair grips. Leave a few strands loose for added rustic charm!

Twirl your locks in to a ballerina bun

Not only is a ballerina bun incredibly easy to style, it's also a super stylish way to wear your hair to a number of occasions. This hairstyle works best on second and third day hair and will last the day when styled up with hairspray and hair grips. If the tidiness of a ballerina bun is a bit much for you, leave a few strands of hair loose at the hairline, or wear your bun with a thick fringe.
